LC2 share their NZ boardgames with LC7 and LC11
















Today LC 2 shared their inquiry boardgames with their buddies. All the children were able to play the different NZ themed boardgames, and learn lots about our country. You can see in the photos that the games look amazing!!

Farewell Ms Riley




Boo hoo!! Today we farewelled our fabulous Assistant Principal Tracey Riley, who is heading off to be the Deputy Principal at the new school in Rolleston. Thank you for all the hard work you have put into our school Ms Riley - we will all miss you very much!!

New Zealander Mufti Day




Today at school we had a New Zealander mufti day. You could either get dressed up as a famous New Zealander or wear black and white colours. Pictured - Jeremy as Daniel Vettori, Ben as Richie McCaw and George as George Whitelock.

Pavlova perfection!!


Yum. The good food just keeps on coming into Learning Community 2 - yesterday we had Anzac biscuits from Ben and George, Sheep from Katy and Pavlova from Grace, and today we have had pikelets from Elena and Pavlova from Grayson!!! Our tummies are full to the brim!! Thanks for alll the delicious Kiwiana food - yummy, yummy, fill our tummies!!

Whole school rugby training


All classes at school have had a rugby training session with Lee Golding from Canterbury Rugby, which involved drills and skills based relays. Pictured are relay skills with Learning Community 2.

Eating sheep in LC2!!


As a conclusion to our New Zealand inquiry topic study, and as an extension of her homework activities for this week, Katy made everyone a sheep cupcake!! They were so beautiful we didn't want to eat them!!! Very creative - and delicious too!! Thank you Katy!!
