Fantastic Rhythmic Gymnastics Results

The Canterbury Primary Schools Rhythmic Gymnastics Competition was held on Monday 27 June at Olympia Gym. Once again West Melton School children had a great day, with the following results:

Recreation Grade Level 2 - Zoe S came 2nd and Kate C came 3rd

Competitive Grade Level 1 - Annabel V came 2nd

Competitive Grade Level 3 - Esther B came 6th

Congratulations to all of our gymnasts and a big thank you to the dedicated parents who provided support and transport.

Canterbury Cross Country Results

The Canterbury Primary Schools Cross Country Championships were held at Halswell Quarry on Wednesday 22 June. Sarah P was placed 72nd and Kacie A 107th in the 10 year old girls event and Dylan S was placed 82nd in the 12+ boys race.

Great Artistic Gymnastics Results


The Canterbury Artistic Gymnastics Competition was held on Monday 20 June. West Melton School children performed extremely well, with the following results:

Grade 1 TeamAnnabel V, Matthew R, Deanna E, Grace H came 3rd

Grade 1 Bar – Matthew R came 1st and Annabel V came 3rd

Crusaders Training




On June 8 thirty five very excited children (and parents!) had a chance to train with Crusaders Matt Todd, Nick Barrett and Quentin MacDonald at Malvern Park, after West Melton School won the Investec Super Rugby Term Deposit Campaign run by BNZ. Thank you to BNZ and all investors who nominated our great school!

Lincoln Zone Cross Country
