Cantamaths

On Wednesday 10 Year 6, 7 & 8 students went to the Horncastle Arena, (Formerly CBS Canterbury Arena) to compete against other students for the title of CANTAMATH Champions 2014. When the Year 7's were told to get ready, it seemed like ages until the actual competition got underway. Once it started though, it went really fast. The Year 7's managed to answer quite a few questions in the 30 minutes they were given. Soon enough, it was the Year 8's turn. It was really stuffy in the entrance to the stadium where we had to wait to start. Once again it took ages to get underway, but once we were going, the time went really fast. The Year 8's questions were pretty hard and none of the 80+ teams managed to get them all correct in time we had. However, we all really enjoyed it and hope to do it again.By Angus H & Sara Q
