On Monday the 14th June 2010 a team of enthusiastic gymnists left to compete at the QE2, In the Lion Foundation School of Gymnastics. The weeks before the competition we have been practicing at the West Melton Community Centre every Thursday after school. The competition has four elements Beam,Floor, Bar and the Vault, plus warm up areas like the foam pit with a trampoline which was everyone's favourite.
In Grade 1 (amateurs) there was:
Toni Mckee, Sheree Tomlinson, Callum Sharp, Jack Manera and Kate Jenkins.
In Grade two, which has harder routines, there was:
Georgia Doocey, Rachael Phillipson and Steven Wanhalla.
While we did our routines we got marked in a score of 1-10. Jack Manera did the best by getting second in the valut.

Sheree- 34.1/40 points
Toni-31.9/40 points
Callum-31.8/40 points
Jack-34/40 points
Kate-29.9/ 40 points
Grade 2 points overall elements:
Steven- 12th/64
Georgia- 20th/64
Rachael- 46th/64
It was a great day and we had heaps of fun. Thanks to all the parents that helped and transported us to QE2. Hope to see everyone next year.
