Life Education with Harold the Giraffe - Green Tent

Life Education with Harold the Giraffe - Green Tent

Wednesday 18th February 2015

Today the Green tent were very lucky in meeting Harold the giraffe!

We learnt what a V.I.P was and how we were ALL Very Important People!!

Looking in the mirror to see who the V.I.P was!

We also watched a story about Harold and his friends at the park, which looked at feelings and how we can keep safe.

Then we had to work out what our body needs; food, water, oxygen, safety, shelter, sleep, excercise, washing and love.

We also learnt a new song:

"You're very special person,

There's nobody like you.

You're wonderful and amazing

And everyone else is too!"

Thanks Harold!!

Over the last few days the Kiwi team had the opportunity to visit the Life Education bus and meet Harold the giraffe. We learnt all about eating healthy and having a balanced diet. We also learnt what foods are good to have every day and what foods we should only eat sometimes.

The WM Early Learning Centre also came over to meet Harold as well.
