Swimming pool update
The painters are working hard on our swimming pool this week. Regular updates will be posted on our Blog.
New car park/drop off open today!
It's fantastic to see our new car park/drop off area open today, and in full use :)
New Entrant Parent Information Morning

Parents of children who will be starting school in the near future were invited to a parent information morning today.
While parents learnt about our New Entrant class, their children took part in games and activities with our senior children.
Thank you very much to everyone for making it such a positive experience.

Hosted by LC11, LC6 & our Pouakai Class
The Kiwi Team learnt about "Interesting Insects" last term.
The children told us interesting facts about insects, and spelt out the words
"WEST MELTON SCHOOL"

Many congratulations to our Athletics winners...
Ms Crosby handed out the Gold Mathletics certificates.
The children who participated in the ICAS Maths exam were presented with their certificates.

Our BP Challenge Team explained their tasks, one of which was to make wind powered racers.
Six children's names were picked out of the three KC Coupon boxes. Well done to William & James (Moa Team), Emily & Rosie (Pukeko Team) and Maisy & Thomas (Kiwi Team), who will have 'PIZZA WITH THE PRINCIPAL' next Tuesday. YUM!

We have lots of budding masterchefs at WMS ...
WOW! Thank you very much for all of your donations.
They will be used by the PTA to make up raffle prizes to raise money for our senior playground.
