Wero o te Wiki - Challenge of the week
Here is our te reo Maori weekly update!
The Wero o te Wiki ~weekly challenge is to encourage
our learners to use more te reo use around the school, especially in the
playground! There will be challenges every week for the rest of the year.
The phrases over the term break were: "Ira! ~Look at
that!" and "Kei reira! ~Right on!
There were fantastic videos sent in before the break. It is tau kē to
hear you kōrero Māori! And the winners this week are Amira, Ella and Tayla! Here is their winning entry (link for video)
The new phrase to try is "Koia kei a [koe]" ~You
really nailed it!
