New Art and Signage

There are lots of new things to see at school to start the term. It has been great to see the children oohing and aahing over the new achievement board, the KC Kids with their bus, LC 7's gorgeous teddies in the foyer and the wonderful mural on the end of LC3. Come and see for yourself!

Ronald McDonald visits Kiwi Team

The Kiwi team children had an exciting start to the new term today with an entertaining visit from Ronald McDonald who was in search of his lost sock. The children learnt a lot about road safety and were even allowed to keep the sock!
The children then put their road safety skills to good use making the hair-raising crossing of West Coast Road. Thank you to local police and parents for helping with this.Thank goodness our new multipurpose room is almost ready for use. Next time Ronald will be able to visit us onsite at school!

Ronald MacDonald Road Show

Ronald MacDonald told us to stop, look and listen at the roads. Also he told us to stay on the house side or the right.

Ronald MacDonald wanted us to make our seat belts click because it keeps us safe.

Arbor Day

The whole school, led by the West Melton School Eco Warriors, dedicated parent Suzanne Pickford and Enviroschools facilitators, and assisted by a willing band of parents and senior students, planted approximately 70 native trees, bushes and shrubs in our new native garden project. We would love you to come and visit this lovely new native garden area with its walnut shell path, stone ‘river’ and pine cone bird feeders.
