Inclement weather conditions on Friday 13th February failed to dampen the spirits or enthusaism of West Melton School Students as all the school met on the front court to assemble for the whanau opening ceremony. Students were marshalled into their respective whanau groups, and then welcomed by Ms O'Boyle who explained the order of proceedings. Ms Jackson presented the 2009 whanau captains with their badges, and then the four whanau groups paraded proudly around the court. Let the whanau house competition begin!!
