Cyber Safety with John Parsons
Our students have been enjoying their workshops with John Parsons, NZ Cyber Safety expert, today.
The aim of these workshops is to help the student learn to make informed ethical decisions founded on common decency and reasonable standards of right and wrong.
Topics covered include:
- Learning how to repel and report unwanted attention when playing online games or using social media platforms.
- Empowering students to support each other in times of need.
- Learning to nurture and protect online identity.
- How to communicate online.

John will be hosting his Cyber Safety presentation tonight in the Wharenui from 7:30pm, which has been sponsored by our Friends of the School (PTA).
We highly recommended attending tonight's presentation.
