WMS Mihi Whakatau

Welcome back to West Melton School for 2016!
Today we welcomed all our new Staff and Learners to West Melton School with a Mihi Whakatau.
First our Kapa Haka group performed 'Tahu Potiki', then a welcome speech by our school principal Mrs.Jackson, and Mrs. Sands on behalf of the BoT. The whole school also sung He Honore and Te Aroha to the new learners and staff. Our new staff members also received a gift from our land.
