Hailey has the moves!
Hailey recently competed in the South Island Taekwondo Championship Tournament on 4th June in Blenheim.
Hailey outmaneuvered everyone to come away with a Silver medal in her class.
Her brother Henry also did well, finishing with a Bronze.
Did you know that Taekwondo (also known as Tae Kwon Do ) is the art of self defense that originated in Korea. It is recognized as one of the oldest forms of martial arts in the world, reaching back over 2,000 years. The name was selected for its appropriate description of the art: Tae (foot), Kwon (hand), Do (art). And it is an official Olympic sport.
