Yesterday theSchool Student Executive held a Pool Party for any students at school to attend. For $1 entry, students could use the pool, be entertained by Jump Jam dancing and also receive an iceblock. The iceblocks were all kindly donated by Rolleston New World for the event, and the student executive were very appreciative for this support. One third of the money raised will be donated to Charity – the chosen charity this year being Cholmondely House. The remaining profit will be used by the student executive to assist with funding future events at school for students, such as discos. Student Executive Productions Manager Shannon Griffiths said “The Pool Party was a great idea and everyone seemed to enjoy it.”
