West Melton School sent a contingent of triathlon athletes to the zone Triathlon Championships held at Burnham last week. Schools from throughout the Selwyn Area were involved in the event. Competing athlete Georgia Shinn commented that “it was a fine day. The course was rather arduous in places, particularly the bike ride around the camp homes. I tried my best and I was pleased with my placing of seventh in the individual 10 year old girls.” West Melton School placings were:
